A nation would be truly happy if it were governed by no other laws than those of this blessed book.

It contains everything needful to be known or done.

It gives instruction to a senate, authority and directions to a magistrate.

It cautions a witness, requires an impartial verdict of a jury, and furnishes the judge with his sentence.

It sets the husband as the lord of his household, and wife as mistress of the table; tells him how to rule, and her how to manage.

It entails honor to parents, and enjoins obedience on children.

It preserves and limits the sway of the sovereign, the rule of the ruler, and the authority of the master; commands the subjects to honor and the servants to obey, and the blessings and the protection of the almighty to all that walk by this rule.

It gives directions for weddings and burials.

It promises food and raiment, and limits the use of both.

It points out a faithful and eternal Guardian to the departing husband and father; tells him with whom to leave his fatherless children, and whom his widow is to trust, and promises a father to the former, and a husband to the latter.

It teaches a man to set his house in order and how to make his will; it appoints a dowry for his wife, and entails the rights of the first-born, and shows how they young branches shall be left.

It defends the rights of all, and reveals vengeance to every defaulter, overreacher, and trespasser.

It is the first book, the best book.

It contains the choicest matter, gives the best instruction, affords the greatest degree of pleasure and satisfaction that we have ever enjoyed.

It contains the best laws and most profound mysteries that were ever penned; and it brings the very best comforts to the inquiring and disconsolate.

It is a brief recital to all that is to come.

It settles all matters in debate, resolves all doubts, and eases the mind and conscience of all their scruples.

It reveals the only living and true God, and shows the way to Him, and sets aside all other gods, and describes the vanity of them and all that trust in such, in short, it is a book of laws, to show right from wrong, of wisdom that condemns a folly and makes the foolish wise, a book of Truth that detects all lies and confronts all errors, and it is a book of life that shows the way to everlasting Life.

It contains the most ancient antiquities and strange events, wonderful occurrences, heroic deeds, unparalleled wars.

It describes the celestial, terrestrial, and infernal worlds, and the origin of the angelic myraids, the human tribes, and the devilish legions.

It will instruct the accomplished mechanic and the most profound critic.

It teaches the best rhetorician, and exercises every power of the most skillful arithmetician, puzzles the wisest anatomist, and exercises the wisest critic.

It is the best covenant that was ever agreed upon, the best deed that was ever sealed, the best that will ever be signed. . . . . .

WHY DID CHRIST COME?

At this season, amid the frenzied commercialism which has distracted the attention of the multitude, how many give serious thought to the things which this holiday is intended to present? Do we ask ourselves, “What do we celebrate?” Yes, a few do; and of this few, only a part get the entire answer. We say that we are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ - although He was really born almost 3 months earlier in the year than Christmas, which is only an old pagan holiday, celebrated many centuries before He was born.

 

But turning our thoughts to Jesus Christ, Himself, do we ask WHY did He leave His majestic throne in heaven, where no pain or trouble can reach, to take upon Himself the body of a man, able to feel weariness, hunger, thirst and pain, and come to live among sinful men, finally to die a terrible death for them, paying the penalty of their sins? He came “That the Scripture might be fulfilled,” as He said in Luke 4:21 and in John 13:18 and 17:12 in which He had foretold both his coming and the purpose of it. Today, we hear only a part of that purpose quoted to us, until we forget that His first coming, crucifixion and resurrection served more than one purpose.

 

One of these purposes was to pay the penalty of the sins of every person who believes and accepts Him as his personal Savior. Since all the sins of the believer were thus fully paid for no penalty, no judgment or condemnation remains for the believer, and eternal life is given to him. Since no man can merit life by his own poor works, this is the only doorway into life eternal.

 

But this is not all: another purpose of HIS first coming was to redeem His people Is-ra-el - which we know is not and never was composed of Jews; but today they are known as the Anglo-Saxon Scandinavian and Germanic nations. Most of them have forgotten their identity as Is-ra-el, as God said they would: In Isaiah 43:18, He said, “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.” We are blind to our Identity; and in the 42^nd and 43^rd chapters of Isaiah he said, “Who is blind, but My servant, or deaf, as My messenger that I sent? - Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears.” In Isaiah 51:1-2, God says to us, “Hearken to Me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the Lord: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged, LOOK UNTO ABRAHAM YOUR FATHER, AND UNTO SARAH THAT BORE YOU.” LOOK TO OUR ANCESTRY, AND LEARN OUR IDENTITY. THEN WE SHALL KNOW THAT JESUS CHRIST CAME TO REDEEM US.

 

Speaking of the birth of Jesus Christ, Luke says: “Blessed be the Lord God of Is-ra-el: for He has visited and redeemed His people, and hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the House of His servant David; as He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets.” You can save what belongs to another; but you can REDEEM only what is rightfully your own. Salvation is open to all who believe, but REDEMPTION is for Is-ra-el only. It is the restoration of our original relation as the sons and daughters of God.

 

In many places, God promised REDEMPTION TO IS-RA-EL; for example: in the 43^rd and 44^th chapters of Isaiah: “But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and He that formed thee, O IS-RA-EL, Fear not: for I have REDEEMED thee; I have called thee by thy name: thou art mine - O IS-RA-EL, thou shalt not be forgotten of Me. I have blotted out as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and as a cloud, thy sins: return unto Me, for I have REDEEMED thee. **the Lord hath redeemed Jacob and glorified Himself in Israel.” This was done by Jesus Christ, at His first coming.

 

Some think that God has cast off His people IS-RA-EL, and that all races are equal in His sight, and that all of His wonderful promises to IS-RA-EL are just empty words which will never be made good. This dim view of His faithfulness greatly wrongs our God. It is just man-made doctrine, not out of the Bible, and Jesus Christ warned the Pharisees in His day, “in vain do they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” Some of these misguided people think they can base their view on Paul’s teachings; but let us see what Paul REALLY said. In Romans 11:1-2, he said, “I say then, Hath God cast away His people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the Tribe of Benjamin. God hath not cast away His people which He foreknew.” Again, in Romans 15:8, “Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision, for the truth of God, TO CONFIRM THE PROMISES MADE UNTO THE FATHERS.” What promises, made to whose fathers? Romans 9:4-5, tells us: “ISRAELITES: to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the convenants, and the giving of the Law, and the service of God, and the promises; whose are the fathers, and of whom concerning the flesh Christ came.” The same IS-RA-EL, in the books of Genesis, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Amos. Listen to them: “I will multiply thy seed as the stars of heaven, and as the sand of the seashore, I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee: and make thy name great: ** and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in thee; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee: thou shalt spread abroad to the west and to the east, and to the north and to the south; ** and thy seed shall inherit the nations, and make the desolate places to be inhabited; thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; you only have I known, of all the families of the earth; ye are My witnesses, saith the Lord, and My servant whom I have chosen; thou art My battleaxe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms. Behold, they shall surely gather together but not by Me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake; No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of Me, saith the Lord. Therefore, God give thee of the dew of heaven and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine; let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee; be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother’s sons bow down to thee; cursed be everyone that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee.” THAT’S WHAT GOD PROMISED YOU. As Paul says, JESUS CHRIST CAME “FOR THE TRUTH OF GOD, AND TO CONFIRM THE PROMISES MADE UNTO THE FATHERS.” GOD ALWAYS MAKES GOOD ON HIS PROMISES: and in fact, the Anglo-Saxon, Scandinavian and Germanic peoples have already received a large measure of these blessings.

 

Yes, we have forgotten who we are, and many preachers parrot the old falsehood that “We are Gentiles.” But this, too, was prophesied by God: in Hosea 1:10 He says, “Yet the number of the children of IS-RA-EL shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, “Ye are not My people (that is, “You are Gentiles”) there it shall be said unto them, ‘YE ARE THE SONS OF THE LIVING GOD’.” WE are the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel; and Jesus Christ said, “I am not sent but unto the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel”, (Matthew 15:24) “I am the Good Shepherd, and know My sheep, and am known of Mine. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me: and I give unto them eternal life.” (John 10:14, 27-28) HE CAME TO REDEEM US: AND HE DID NOT FAIL. Of all the nations of the world, we are outstandingly Christian; and we have received and displayed to the world the blessings which God showers upon His people when they are loyal to Him.

 

In your gratitude to Jesus Christ, give thanks not only for your personal salvation as a believer, but also for your redemption as an Israelite, restored to your position as a child of God.

Professor Frederick Haberman, author of “Tracing Our Ancestors” gives us valuable archaeological evidence concerning the builders and the building of Stonehenge in England.

 

His book states, “if one compares the famous megalithic monuments of Carnac in Brittany to the historic megaliths of Tibet, he is at once struck by the remarkable similarity of the two sets of monuments. The Carnac alignments are situated from east to west and have at their western extremity a cromlech or circle of stones. The Doring monuments have precisely the same arrangement. From Avebury in England to Darab in Persia and from Carnac in Brittany to Doring in Tibet are thousands of miles; yet the similarity of the monuments show that they were erected by one and the same people and for a special purpose.”

 

The first ray of light on the identity of the people who erected Avebury Circle in England is gained from the name of Avebury which O. Gordon states I his book “Prehistoric London” is derived from the word “Abiri”. The name “Abiri” was the name given to the Israelites, by the people of Canaan, when they entered that land after the Exodus. “Abiri” is the ancient form of “Hebrews”, meaning “Abiri” or Avebury” in England.

 

O. Gordon states further in his book, “ - let us consider what evidence Stonehenge Circle and its date of erection provide. Here is a structure, some of whose stones, weighing over 200 tons, were brought 150 miles from the quarries and erected according to a definite plan and for the purpose of fixing the date and the position of the Summer Solstice and the other cardinal points of the compass. Our school books tell us that the early Britons of BC times were only skin-clad savages; yet is it possible that wild savages were able to haul large blocks of stone for over 100 miles over solid ground and then erect them according to a specified plan and to a definite astronomical alignment?”

 

Again, evidence is provided by D. Davidson in his monumental work “The Great Pyramid”. He writes, “18^th Dynasty Egyptian glazed beads (not made elsewhere or by any other Egyptian dynasty than the 18^th and 19^th) were found at Stonehenge in England together with the beads of Baltic amber. Similar beads of Baltic amber were also found in Egypt in the 18^th and 19^th dynasty remains.” (In the year 1700 BC, during the rule of the 18^th dynasty in Egypt, Is-ra-el dwelt in that land.)

 

Evidences like these are important links but one of the greatest is furnished by Sir Flinders Petrie who says that the great stone circle at Stonehenge has a diameter of 1163 British inches. This value, approximately 1162.6 Pyramid inches, is known by every astronomer and every Pyramid student to be the diameter of the Solar Circle of 3652.42 inches circumference, or the value of the Solar year, multiplied by 10. Two deductions we must draw from this; first, the builders of Stonehenge Circle in England knew the accurate value of the Solar year, and secondly, they made use of the Pyramid or Polar Diameter or sacred Hebrew inch.

 

Next, the dimensions of Stonehenge Circle, diameter 1162.6 inches and circumference 3652.42 inches, are the dimensions of the ancient Egyptian aroura, a unit of land measure and also represented in the dimensions of the Great Pyramid of Gizeh, as Mr. Davidson’s works have shown. The conclusions we must draw, therefore, from the evidences so far, are that the early Britons who built those gigantic structures, scientifically correct and to the standard of the Polar Diameter or the Hebrew inch, were either Hebrews themselves or progenitors of the Hebrews as were also the builders of the Great Pyramid of Egypt which was erected by Aryan-Phoenicians precisely 1000 years before Stonehenge Circle.

 

Professor L. A. Waddell, in his book “Phoenician Origin of Britons, Scots, and Anglo-Saxons”, provides the evidence from hundreds of Phoenician coins and inscriptions, found in both Britain and the East, that the early Britons were the sea-going Aryan-Phoenicians who appeared in Western Europe as the Celts or Kelts which name can be traced to ancient Chaldea, from whence indeed they came. Evidences also show that the early British astronomer-priests, known as Druids, made their way from the Near east.

 

A theologian, as well as an archaeologist, Professor Waddell related his findings to scripture and states, “However, it appears that the word “man” is applied only to the Adamic or the white race, according to Max Mueller, the great Oxford scholar, who stated: “Man”, a derivative root, means “to think”. From this we have the Sanskrit “Manu” originally the thinker man. The name Adam, man or Adam, a thinker suggests that the living soul breathed into Adam raised him high above the other existing races.” Also stated in the Bible, Deut. 7:6, “For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto Himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

 

For strong confirmation of this we refer to a passage in the Indian Vidas which reads: “India alone has tamed the dusky races, and subdued them for the Aryans.” (“India” is the early Indo-Aryan name for Yahveh or Jehovah.) Among the “dusky races” are included the Chinese and other Mongolian or Turanian peoples, the Negroes, the primitive peoples of Europe and the British Isles. A study of Scripture and recorded civilization makes it clear that it was this Adamic Aryan race who were God’s appointed builders and offspring; builders of civilization and the carriers of Messianic Tidings from the very beginning.

 

Professor Haberman’s book “Tracing Our Ancestors”, not only establishes the correct location of Eden but states that this Adamic race appeared suddenly on the face of the earth and establishes them as the builder and agricultural race.

 

It is this race whose history is that of the Old Testament and to whom the New Testament was written. It is these people, the Hebrews, the Is-ra-el of the Old Testament who can be proven to be Christians (Christ’s sons) of today and who claim, as part of the New Testament, the Book of Hebrews.

 

It was our fore-fathers of the Old Testament who made the Exodus out of Egypt and as 13 tribes placed in captivity, had a blindness placed over their eyes and after many hundreds of years migrated up through the Caucasian Pass into Europe. There they established themselves as nations and eventually crossed over to this continent and became this nation under God’s Laws and Government.

 

Our fore-fathers were the people who, having carried the law in their hearts from the very beginning, were able to visualize and form the divinely inspired Constitution. This contract between the states established this great Nation and placed Jesus Christ as the King over us and George Washington as our first President.

MARXISM IN CHRISTMAS CARDS

How much do you plan to spend this Christmas in support of the anti-Christ propaganda expressed in certain greeting cards? It is a matter of public record that the creative arts have been deeply penetrated by Marxist symbolism and crypto-Communist messages. These facts can readily be ascertained by reading Senate and Congressional Reports on the subversive process.

 

In 1948, the United Press quoted a letter in the “Soviet Literary Gazette,” published in Moscow, in which thirty-two leading American writers and painters declared they wanted to share the public duty assigned the “intelligentsia” of the Soviet Union to work to break the chains with which the United States capitalists have shackled creative workers.

 

One of the signers of this open letter to the Soviets was Philip Evergood (1947, 1948, 1949, 1951 Reports of Un-American Activities in California) who drew one of the Christmas cards on display at the headquarters of the Progressive Citizens of America (1947, 1948, 1949, 1951 Reports of Un-American Activities in California) then at 205 East 42^nd Street, New York, New York and also on sale at the Communist Bookstore Workers Bookshop, then at 50 East 13^th Street, New York, New York.

 

Evergood pictured a Christmas tree being carried out of the North Woods in Canada by a French Canadian and a Negro woodcutter. (The number of Negroes in French Canada is very small; thus the use of the “unrepresentative” example was employed to get over a racial angle.)

 

A card by Joseph Hirsch (1949 Report of Un-American Activities in California) was an etching of an absolutely naked woman sitting cross-legged on the floor and throwing a naked baby in the air. This was titled: “Mother and Child.” Another card, was a grotesque Negro child’s head with a halo, a crown of thorns and pierced hands. The artist knew so little Christian doctrine that he used the Easter symbols to represent Christ at Christmas!

 

A fourth card, “Christmas Carol,” was by Robert Gwathmey (1949 Report Un-American Activities in California); it portrayed an Oriental figure strumming a lyre. It is typical to identify the Orient as celebrating Christmas. A fifth card, “The Happy Mothers” was by Chaim Gross (1949 Report Un-American Activities in California). In this drawing, young women with babies in their arms were floating in the air, parallel to the earth below, implying that the only happy mothers were dead. The sixth of the series was by Paul Strand (1948, 1949 Reports Un-American Activities in California). This was “Toward the Sugar House, Vermont 1944”. There was absolutely nothing Christmas-like about it.

 

Of the six artists who made this series in 1947, the following five are listed as sponsors of the Cultural and Scientific Conference for World Peace, which in turn was sponsored by the National Council of the Arts, Sciences, and Professions (1949, 1951 Reports Un-American Activities in California), held in New York, New York, March 1949: Hirsch, Gross, Gwathmey, Evergood and Strand, the latter two having more than twenty citations each in the California Legislature’s Report on Subversive Activities.

 

So the radical Marxist invasion of the Christmas Card field was established. For several years after, a New York City department store near Christmas advertised “The American Artists’ Group,” among them Adolph Dehn (1948, 1949), the late John Taylor Arms (1948), C. E. Burchfield (1948) and George Schreiber (1948) whose citations can be found in the California Reports of Un-American Activities for the years indicated.

 

The winner of the Hallmark Art Award for Christmas Cards in 1952 was Anton Refregier (1947, 1948, 1949, 1951 Report Un-American Activities in California). Regardless of this record, he received $2,000 prize money for a weirdly designed tree with a (Picasso) dove in suspension above it. (This, too, is a sly introduction of Communist symbolism for “Peace”). A further use to which this contest was put was the country-wide exhibition of the 100 best cards; the admission fee was given to UNESCO.

 

The nadir of bad taste was reached by Brentano’s Book Stores, Inc. in 1953 when they sent out a brochure, which the writer has, advertising their “mischievous” Christmas cards. Just what is “mischievous” about the Feast of Christmas was not explained. But the cards were plainly sacrilegious in that they showed a drunk on the back of a speeding coach; and even Santa Claus with a big glass of brandy.

 

By this time, public opinion was beginning to sense something repugnant in the Christmas card business. The New York World Telegram & Sun’s Murray Robinson was complaining about the Christmas cards put out by the Museum of Modern Art (one of which pictured a starved-looking deer, half-skinned with his “innards” showing like those of a dollar alarm clock). Ben Shahn (1949 Report of Un-American Activities in California) was included in the show.

 

By December 1955, the Communist Daily Worker was advertising a package of “holiday season’s greeting cards” (note careful omission of the word “Christmas” in the Marxist’s determination to avoid “Christological” reference), in which such artists as Rockwell Kent (1948, 1949, 1951 Reports Un-American Activities in California), Anton Refregier, etc., were mentioned. The Daily Worker pointed out that the cards said “Season’s Greetings” ad reflected the themes of peace and brotherhood.

 

Again Murray Robinson protested against “novelty” Christmas cards. He had been sent a set by some greeting card company and when he opened one card, his finger was caught in a mousetrap! He finished with the plaintive hope: “Wish somebody would stop ‘em from putting mousetraps in Christmas cards. Mousetraps and comic poetry.”

 

Nor is this conspiracy to put over the Marxist socialist message even on our most sacred Holy Day confined merely to the United States. In 1955, from Auckland, New Zealand came word that New Zealand has virtually banished “pagan” Christmas cards in what the islands’ printers describe as a “revolution” in public demand. “Cards which have nothing to do with the spiritual side of Christmas are gone from the market.”

 

Finally, there is the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). For several years, UNICEF put out Christmas cards to make money for its activities. That UNICEF promoted Christianity not at all is known. Pakistan children playing as depicted on one of these cards had no connection whatever with Christmas. In 1957, UNICEF has apparently shifted gears. Of a set of ten cards, UNICEF will put out one which says “Joyous Christmas” and carries a picture of a mother and child; but it is not THE MOTHER AND CHILD.

 

When you choose your Christmas cards, be alert to any outright or concealed technique indulged in to convey a clandestine Marxist message. Let us remember that Christmas is a Christian observance of the birthday of Jesus the Christ.

Can it be that the Communists want our Christian youth committed to a ground war in Asia - yet oppose it in order to neutralize any lawful and sincere objections? Is it possible that these Communists tactics are intentional? For an answer, let us look at Open Letter No. 55, published by the COUNCIL FOR STATEHOOD, P.O. Box 1131, North Miami, Florida: (We do not have space for the complete Letter therefore we have taken extracts as follows):

 

Gentlemen:

 

We believe that there is no hope whatever for redress of our grievances in Washington, DC. For nearly forty years many of us have been writing, phoning and visiting Federal Legislators and have received no results except canned answers and lip service. All of this time they have been approving UNCONSTITUTIONAL legislation, robbing the taxpayers and squandering our money, our men and our resources all over the world.

 

In reviewing our history as a Constitutional Republic, we learn that the people are sovereign and that they created 13 states. They transferred some of their sovereign powers to their State Representatives, thus the States became sovereign. The States created a Federal Agency known as the Federal Government and transferred some very LIMITED powers and duties to this Federal Agency. BUT all sovereignty remained with the States and the people. At that time, the States entered into a contract (compact) between themselves (the CONSTITUTION). This contract provided that the People be represented at the Federal level by a Congress - and Congress was elected by the People. The States were to be represented by the Senate. The Senate was endowed with certain powers in order to enable the States to control and supervise the Federal Agency they had created. Then something happened. The State Legislatures were persuaded to vote themselves out of effective control of the Federal Agency. They adopted the 17^th Amendment to the Constitution wherein the People elect U.S. Senators. The States no longer had any power over the Senate. This condition must be corrected with the repeal of the 17^th Amendment.

 

The Federal Agency in Washington, DC has now admittedly engaged this Nation in all-out war. And they have told us why. The President stated that “we” are at WAR in Viet Nam in compliance with our solemn commitments under the U.N. SEATO treaty; that South Viet Nam had asked us to save her from the “Communists” and that we are going to save her. We must get to the question - Just WHO asked for our help? The Diems did - and so “we” arranged the assassination of the ANTI-Communist Diems who were WINNING the war against the Communists - and we have been losing ever since. Surely no responsible citizen believes that the Federal Agency has acted in good faith with the Viet Namese OR WITH AMERICANS in the Viet Nam situation. In the first place, they have not asked Congress to declare war as required BY LAW. They have USED the Diems as an excuse for committing our men to an illegal war, for VERY DUBIOUS OBJECTIVES. If the objectives were honest and tolerable, they would have presented their case to the Congress and the people. And this, you KNOW they have NOT DONE. The President’s off-side remark that we are in Viet Nam in fulfillment of our “solemn commitments” under the SEATO treaty is the only CLUE as to what we are trying to do in Viet Nam. He LET THE TRUTH SLIP OUT during a press conference and there has been dead silence about the SEATO arrangement ever since. Nobody in Washington wants us to know about SEATO and the U.N. connection with the Viet Nam war. They have repeatedly denied that this is a United Nations war. And this is the most reprehensible LIE they have ever told. A SEATO war is a UNITED NATIONS war. SEATO is a United Nations Regional Agency and under Article 53 of the United Nations Charter: “The Security Council shall, where appropriate, UTILIZE such regional arrangements (the U.N. war is a regional arrangement) or AGENCIES for ENFORCEMENT action under the Security Council’s AUTHORITY. But NO enforcement action shall be taken WITHOUT THE AUTHORIZATION OF THE SECURITY COUNCIL.”

 

Next we offer Article 54 of the U.N. Charter: “The Security Council shall at all times be kept fully informed of activities undertaken or in contemplation under regional arrangements or by regional agencies. . .” And Article 4 of the SEATO treaty completes the picture of authority for the war and conduct of it: “Measures taken under this paragraph (enforcement) shall be IMMEDIATELY REPORTED to the Security Council of the U.N. . .” Gentlemen, the HEAD of the Security Council of the U.N. is Mr. Vladimar Suslov - COMMUNIST. Once the SEATO treaty was invoked and the President has said IT WAS the entire war operation came under the top direction of Mr. Suslov. This is why the Washington, DC government cannot - and dare not - admit the SEATO treaty is in effect. If you will re-read Article 53 you will see that we, as signatory members of SEATO, could not go into Viet Nam EXCEPT UNDER THE AUTHORIZATION of the Security Council of the U.N. Can you picture Mr. Johnson or McNamara going on TV and telling the American people this fantastic truth - that their sons are being sent to the sink-holes of Asia to fight “communists”, while every action taken OR CONTEMPLATED is reported to the communist Mr. Suslov, sitting in the U.N. headquarters in New York?

 

This is not the first time it has happened. It happened in Korea and in Cuba. But let us see how it was done in Korea - then we will know what to expect in Viet Nam. Keeping in mind always that the COMMUNIST Mr. Suslov now has complete AUTHORITY to SURRENDER OUR TROOPS, we can decide whether such a surrender in Korea was not actually contemplated and was averted only because of Gen. MacArthur’s incomparable Inchon Landing. Unquestionably the Korean War was a Council on Foreign Relations project. Their member-agent, Dean Acheson - law partner of Donald Hiss - set the project up by publicly declaring “we” would NOT defend South Korea. When the North Koreans attacked, the U.N. declared “peace” against North Korea and called up our troops - as they were authorized to do under the U.N. Charter. We had the same disreputable crew in the State Department then as we have now. When the war was authorized by the U.N. and its Security Council, the State Department had the proclamation prepared, and in due time President Truman issued it. Congress was not consulted then either. We were in the U.N. and had agreed in Article 24, viz.: “In order to insure prompt and effective action by the U.N. its members CONFERRED UPON THE SECURITY COUNCIL primary responsibility . . .and agree that in carrying out this responsibility the SECURITY COUNCIL ACTS ON THEIR BEHALF.” Under the U.N. Charter to which we are totally committed, we have TRANSFERRED RESPONSIBILITY for taking this nation to war, FROM CONGRESS to the U.N. SECURITY COUNCIL, THE CONSTITUTION BE DAMNED.

 

Having transferred full control of our Armed Forces to the United Nations, let us examine the manner in which these troops were employed in Korea. The war was planned well in advance - even the provocation was planned and invited. As soon as the war was started, the Soviet Lt. Gen. Vasiliev, who was at that time CHAIRMAN of the U.N. MILITARY STAFF COMMITTEE, took a leave of absence and went to Korea to LEAD THE RED CHINESE TROOPS AGAINST THE U.N. ARMY, principally OUR TROOPS. Gentlemen, this is a PROVABLE FACT. This is the hell-inspired outfit OUR NATION has been delivered up to by YOUR U.S. SENATE. This is the treacherous enemy now in full control of the war in Viet Nam. In Korea - as in Viet Nam - all activities or ACTIONS CONTEMPLATED were reported to the U.N. Security Council whose head was another SOVIET, Constantin Zinchenko. It was he who received reports from Gen. MacArthur - apparently through the State Department – passed upon the reports - and the “actions contemplated” then INFORMED THE COMMUNIST COMMANDERS IN THE FIELD. Sworn testimony of our highest military commanders WHO WERE THERE, can be quoted. Also the de-classified Defense Department documents dated May 15, 1954 captioned "The Truth About Soviet Involvement in the Korean War”. This document admits that VASILIEV - the on-leave Chairman of the U.N. Military Staff Committee commanded the enemy troops.

 

Secrecy and duplicity are keystones of the United Nations. THIS MUST BE. They could not exist otherwise. During the Korean War they feared that the highly intelligent U.S. commanders in the field would become aware of the top Command back in the U.N. headquarters. In order to conceal the position and performance of Mr. Zinchenko, the U.N. Secretary General, Trygvie Lie, who himself had spent much time in the Soviet Union as was rumored to have served on the Soviet Presidium - established three-man committee known as the Executive Military Authority which would have great powers - under Zinchenko of course - including the right to FIRE THE COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF, which was the U.N. title conferred upon General MacArthur - and to REPLACE him. Details of this performance are recorded in the famous Senate document No. 87, pages 653 to 659. In Trygvie Lie’s book “In the Cause of Peace”, page 334-335 he tells how he needed a closer contact (a watch dog? Ed) with Gen. MacArthur and he sent for a very special person, resident of Africa, Col. Alfred G. Katzin who had served in ALLIED INTELLIGENCE during World War II. Anything the American Commanders failed to report to the SOVIET head of the U.N. Security Council would be taken care of by the Watch-Dog Katzin. Gen. MacArthur had discussed his idea of an Inchon landing with Mr. Katzin who opposed it. When MacArthur decided to make the landing he did not tell Katzin anything about it. At the time the landing was decided upon, the top-side directions of Zinchenko had forced our troops into a position where there seemed no alternative to surrender - except be pushed into the sea. The Inchon Landing which saved the day was the reputed reason for the “firing” of Gen. MacArthur. Now, if you will recall Senate Document 87 on page 654 relates that “the Executive Military Authority (U.N.) should be authorized to designate the Commander-In-Chief of the U.N. forces AND TO REPLACE HIM” - you will see that President Truman did NOT “fire” General MacArthur. He could not “fire” the Commander-In-Chief of the Untied Nations Armed Forces. The “Executive Military Authority” under the SOVIET Zinchenko had the sole authority to do this. They DARED NOT let the American people know this - as they dare not let us know who is running the war in Viet Nam - so AFTER THE DECISION WAS MADE, they let Mr. Truman speak FOR THEM.

 

So - here we are - once again fighting a United Nations war. The question now arises - WHO is the Vasiliev in North Viet Nam? Who is the Katzin? WHO is the Commander-In-Chief in this war? The Red Herrings chasing their tails around Washington DC have absolutely NO AUTHORITY over the Viet Nam war. The SOVIET Suslov has ultimate authority there. HE is the man through whom ALL CONTEMPLATED ACTION must be cleared. He will know every move we make - and will relay all information IN ADVANCE to the COMMUNISTS. And this is only PART of the story. All talk about using the atom bomb is sheer nonsense. In addition to top control of the U.N. Military affairs, the COMMUNIST, Mr. Suslov is IN COMPLETE CHARGE OF ALL ATOMIC ENERGY - AND DISARMAMENT.

Spices and Herbs have an

Intriguing History

 

We take spices and herbs for granted, but in nearly all recorded history, man has been closely allied with his hunger for marvelous spices. The first known reference to spices occurs in the scriptures of the ancient Assyrians. However, long before the Assyrians, men were acquainted with spices. Very likely the first experience with seasoning came when primitive men wrapped meat in leaves before cooking it on hot coals. Their purpose was to protect the meat from dirt and ashes. But they soon learned that certain leaves imparted a pleasant new flavor to the meat.

 

Later the primitive tribes inhabiting the great forests of Europe found dill, marjoram, parsley, thyme, and several other herbs growing in their area. Generally speaking, however, the most important spices came from the East, specifically from India, Ceylon, Sumatra, Java, and other spice islands.

 

As the Greek and Roman colonizers spread their civilization throughout Europe, they took their knowledge of spices with them. For example, the first mustard seeds were brought to England by Roman soldiers in 50 BC. Very quickly the fierce tribes of Gaul and the Celtic outlanders learned the value of these “new” spices.

 

Beginning with Marco Polo, more and more travelers ventured eastward and found where the centers of spice-growing and spice-trading were located. European traders organized new overland routes to the East, bringing new names back to the West - Kabul, Samarkand, Trebizond, and Baghdad.

 

By the 17^th century, the Dutch had gained complete mastery of the profitable spice trade. If the price of cinnamon or cloves fell too low, they burned them. They soaked their nutmeg in the milk of lime, thus killing the germ and preventing it from being planted elsewhere. In the late 17^th century, America benefited indirectly from the spice trade as Elihu Yale, originally a clerk for the British East India Company, eventually became governor of Madras, India, and later endowed his fortune to Yale University. In the Late 18^th century and early 19^th century, Americans were directly involved in the spice trade as the clipper ships of New England began to dominate world trade. In 1873, pirates brought the American spice trade to a complete halt.

 

Meanwhile, the spice business, like the rest of the country, was moving west. In the 1835 American settlers in Texas developed chili powder by combining various ground peppers from Mexico, thus uncovering an entire new dimension of American taste. In fact, Mexico had been known for its spices long before the discovery of America. Cortez found the vanilla bean there and took it back to Spain as one of his prize discoveries.

 

World War II saw hundreds of thousands of American soldiers bring home from the war a taste for Oriental and Mediterranean foods. For example, between 1948 and 1956, the sale of oregano in the United States increased 6000 percent. This was primarily the effect of an extraordinary new demand for pizza and other Italian specialties.

 

Today, many women would like to use more spices in their cooking but are afraid to experiment. Spices and herbs make food more appetizing in aroma, more appealing in color, tastier, and even more digestible. Spice and herb cookery need not be complicated, time-consuming or, of course, expensive. Nor do spices mean the preparation of hot, exotic dishes, although you might find these tasty from time to time. A good rule to follow is to use all seasoning in small quantities particularly if a new flavor. You may always add more of the spices desired. But it is impossible to correct or remove seasoning if too much has been used initially.
